Our recent family getaway to the Nook at Timbers was a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Upon arrival, our host greeted us warmly, even though it was quite late due to unexpected rain. She had thoughtfully left a welcome pack filled with essentials like milk, bread, and a delightful chocolate cake-perfect for settling in after a long journey. The living area was spacious, allowing us plenty of room to unwind after our daily outings. With two toilets and a generously sized upstairs bathroom, it made our stay that much easier, especially as a family. Having a well-equipped kitchen meant we could whip up a quick breakfast before heading out to explore the stunning Peak District, which is just a short drive away. Location-wise, the Nook couldn't be better situated for family walks through the picturesque village, plus nearby pubs made for lovely evening dinners. We really enjoyed our time and believe the Nook is a great choice for families looking for comfort and convenience during their travels. We would gladly return for another memorable stay if we find ourselves in the area again.
